Showers and Thunderstorms for Tuesday -

A slow moving cold front will enter the area Tuesday into Wednesday. The chance for showers and thunderstorms will increase into Tuesday and Tuesday night. Heavy rain is possible with these storms and there is a level 1/5 Risk for severe thunderstorms for Tuesday. The severe weather risk is due to the heat and humidity from Monday which leads to instability in the atmosphere.

Cooler Temps on the way -

Temperatures will fall from the 90s into the 60s and 70s for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Temperature are expected to rise once again after that as the next system approaches for Saturday into early next week. More showers and storms will return for late in the week and the weekend.
