Yankees and Dodgers Favorites To Make World Series

Major League Baseball teams will play a 60-game season, so getting off a good start will be more important than ever if they want to make the postseason and have a shot at the World Series. But according to odds-makers, some teams have a better shot at getting there than others.

The Yankees and the Dodgers, at 7-to-2 odds, are considered co-favorites to win the World Series this year.

The Houston Astros, mired in a cheating scandal, are next at 11-to-1 odds, followed by the Atlanta Braves and Minnesota Twins, who are both at 15-to-1.

The defending-champion Washington Nationals have 18-to-1 odds, and the worst odds belong to the long-shot Baltimore Orioles.
