Gusty southwest winds 35 to 45 mph winds today with a few gusts of 50 mph possible. The strongest winds are expected to be in open and unsheltered areas in southeast Minnesota and northeast Iowa. Unsecured, lightweight objects will be blown about and travel may be difficult for high profile vehicles on east to west roads.
WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 9 AM THIS MORNING TO 7 PM CST THIS EVENING…For Iowa, Floyd, Mitchell, Chickasaw, and Howard Counties. In Minnesota, Dodge, Fillmore, Mower, Olmsted, and Wabasha Counties.
