Waukon Fire Department Hero Run Happening August 27th

The Waukon Fire Department is hosting their “Hero Run” on Saturday, August 27th at Empty Nest Winery.  The Little Minions race begins at 5:30 PM, and the Adult 5K Fun Run/Walk starts at 6:00 PM.  Open registration is happening that night from 5-6 PM, but pre-registration is encouraged by August, 6th to guarantee a shirt by race day.  You can register online here, on the event Facebook page, or drop off registration at the Waukon Wellness Center.  Entry fee for the 5k Run/Walk is $30.00, and that includes a brat and beverage.  Free babysitting is available during the adult race.
