VIDEO: Wynonna Judd Explained Why She Held Onto Jelly Roll at the CMAs

Wynonna Judd has responded to the commentary surrounding her opening performance at the 2023 CMA Awards. The 59-year-old took to Instagram and TikTok to respond to fan concern over her after she took to the stage to sing ‘Need a Favor’ with Jelly Roll. During the performance, Judd held onto Jelly Roll, which prompted several fans to become concerned about her health. In a video post titled “Don’t read the comments, they say…” a smiling Judd said: “I’m just gonna come clean with y’all…he asked me to sing and I said, ‘Absolutely!’ I got out there and I was so nervous that I just held on for dear life. And that’s the bottom line.” She also shared that she was traveling to Texas to resume her “Back to Wy Tour” last night, assuring fans, “All is well!”
