Tiny Spider and Exoskeleton Found in Woman’s Ear

The next time you hear a rustling noise in your ear, your memory is going to take you right back to this nightmarish story.

A woman in Taiwan kept hearing a strange clicking and rustling sound for several days that was so annoying it kept her up at night. She thought it would go away but it didn’t, so she finally visited a doctor who have it checked out. The doctor took a close look inside her ear canal and found a spider that had apparently crawled inside and camped out for a few days.

The spider, the doctor noticed, had discarded its exoskeleton and was crawling around inside the ear canal. The doctor used a suction tube to pull out the spider and its exoskeleton, and the woman’s discomfort immediately went away.
