The Peacock Network Paid for the Peacock Cheerleaders to Attend

The big story out of this year’s March Madness is the #15 Saint Peter’s Peacocks from Jersey City are now only the third 15-seed to make it to the Sweet 16 since 1985. They knocked off #2 seed Kentucky in Round 1, then Murray State on Saturday.

After Saint Peter’s beat Kentucky, their cheerleaders weren’t going to be able to attend the Murray State game. The Peacock streaming service reached out to them and paid for their cheerleaders to attend Saturday night’s game!
