A line of showers and thunderstorms moves through the region this afternoon and evening, bringing with it the threat for heavy rain, damaging winds, and maybe an isolated tornado. However, the threat for damaging winds and a tornado depend on how quickly clouds can clear ahead of the front, and confidence in these hazards is on the lower side. Widespread rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are likely. The storms move in from west to east during the afternoon and likewise clear from west to east in the late evening and overnight hours on Monday.
We are expecting a line of storms to move in from W to E during the afternoon into evening. Some storms could be strong to severe with primary threats of strong winds, heavy rain, and the possibility of an isolated tornado. Stay weather aware!
