Road Work on IA 76 North of Waukon

Travelers will experience road work on IA Highway 76 in the next few weeks.  According to the Iowa DOT, shallow milling of the road surface is happening this week in preparation for microsurfacing.  Starting the week of September, 29th the microsurfacing work will take place for one and half weeks.  After that is done, the new surface material will cure for about two weeks, and then the final pavement markings will be put in place.  Flaggers and pilot cars will be used to control traffic in the work. and all work is weather dependent.
