Road Construction In Crawford County

The Wisconsin DOT is making improvements to the bridges on WIS 82 beginning at the intersection of WIS 82/WIS 35 and extending west to the Mississippi River towards Lansing, IA. The project length is 1.4 miles.  Project details include; The three slough bridges will be repaired, the guardrail/terminals will be improved to modern standards, and paving of the bridge approaches may be needed.  The project may last up to 45 days ending potentially in June, but a 10 day closure starts on Friday night, May 29, and ending on Sunday, June 7th.  Traffic will be detoured from De Soto to Prairie Du Chien on WIS 35 then to Marquette, IA, and up to Lansing, IA or North to La Crescent, MN.  Signs will be deployed in advance of the closure.
