Red Flag Warning For Northeast Iowa This Afternoon

The National Weather Service in La Crosse has issued a Red Flag Warning, which is in effect from 1 PM this afternoon to 8 PM CDT this evening.

* AFFECTED AREA…In Iowa, Mitchell, Howard, Winneshiek, Floyd, Chickasaw, Fayette and Clayton.

* TIMING…From 1 PM this afternoon to 8 PM CDT this evening.

* WINDS…Southeast 20 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY…As low as 25 to 35 percent.

* TEMPERATURES…Up to 76.

* IMPACTS…Any fire that develops will catch and spread quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
