New York Restaurant Introduces Malibu Barbie Dream Drizzle

Lots of things have “gone pink” to celebrate the Barbie movie … but cheesesteak? Josh Amidon, owner of Gino’s Cheese Steak & Onion in Fayetteville, New York, jumped in on the Barbie craze by adding a  “Malibu Barbie Dream Drizzle” to their signature cheesesteaks. The pink sauce is made with red dragon fruit and house-made ranch, with garlic, chili and lemon, according to Amidon. And the sandwich has been a big hit – with people flocking to the small sandwich shop. In fact, the restaurant has gone through through nearly 20 gallons of its pink sauce since the “Barbie” movie premiered, says Amidon.
