New Trend: The Egg Peel Challenge

A new trend is taking over TikTok in which people peel raw eggs. The “Egg Peel Challenge” has people using toothpicks, cuticle pushers, tweezers, and metal blemish extractors to separate the shell and fragile membrane. Some succeed and have a perfectly unshelled egg membrane, while others fail and break into the egg white or yolk. Participants and viewers describe it as being “oddly satisfying,” “relaxing,” or “fun.”
