Mark Chesnutt Has Emergency Heart Surgery

Country music legend Mark Chesnutt announced via Instagram that he experienced a heart issue over the weekend, and needed quadruple bypass surgery.

“I send my love and gratitude to my family and friends, the band and fans for your understanding, prayers and support, and look forward to seeing you all again soon at a honky tonk near you.”  Chesnutt said in his Instagram post.   He has cancelled his upcoming shows indefinitely.
