EXTREME COLD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 9 AM CST TUESDAY…

* WHAT…For the Cold Weather Advisory, very cold wind chills of 25 to 35 below zero. For the Extreme Cold Warning, dangerously cold wind chills of 35 to 40 below zero.

* WHERE…In Iowa, Floyd, Mitchell, Allamakee, Chickasaw, Clayton, Fayette, Howard, and Winneshiek Counties. In Wisconsin, Crawford and Grant Counties.

* WHEN…For the first Cold Weather Advisory, until 11 AM CST this morning. For the second Cold Weather Advisory, from 6 PM this evening to midnight CST tonight. For the Extreme Cold Warning, from midnight tonight to 9 AM CST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS…Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is exposed to these temperatures.
