Blue Jays Fan Gets Hit By Foul Ball, Gets Own Baseball Card

Over the weekend in Toronto, a Blue Jays fan named Liz McGuire was in the stands for a game against the Tampa Bay Rays. A 110-mile-per-hour foul ball landed in the stands and plunked McGuire on the forehead, leaving a nasty bump and a black eye. She didn’t get the ball that bounced off her face – but she did stick around for the rest of the game. To celebrate Liz, the Topps trading card company created her very own card. It’s a limited-edition card. Only 110 were produced. And Liz gets all 110 copies.
