Bees Delay Diamondbacks/Dodgers Game Tuesday

The start of Tuesday night’s game between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Arizona Diamondbacks at Chase Field in Phoenix was delayed nearly two hours when a bee colony swarmed the top of the protective netting directly behind home plate. A beekeeper named Matt Hilton was called in to wrangle up the buzzers, which he did to a cheering crowd. The Diamondbacks then rewarded him with the honor of throwing out the first pitch.
