Baseball History: Bird and Ball Collide

This Thursday would of been opening day of Major League Baseball season.  With the coronavirus pandemic, opening day will happen sometime in May at best.  Since I’m a huge baseball fan(Go Twins),  I’ve been watching old games, highlights, and reading about players of the past to scratch that baseball itch.  Yesterday I came across a piece of baseball history I kinda forgot….on March, 24th 2001 a pitch from Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Randy Johnson collided with a…Bird.  Let’s just say the baseball won.  Check out the video of it below!  -EK
