Area Cooling Centers

Northeast Iowa Behavioral Health will open its main building, located at 905 Montgomery St., Decorah, as a cooling center. The cooling center will be open from Tuesday, August 22nd through Thursday, August 24th. Hours will be 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.  Anyone in the community in need of a cool place to get out of the heat is welcome at the Center. We want people to stay safe and healthy as this heat wave passes through northeast Iowa.
We encourage community members to utilize the space. Feel free to bring snacks to share, games or a book to read. Everyone is welcome.
