Carson King, who has helped raise over $1 million for the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital after his sign at the Cyclone-Hawkeye football game went viral, has apologized after a controversial tweets from 2011 were discovered. Anheuser-Busch has decided to cut ties with Carson King after the tweets were discovered. Anheuser-Busch released a statement yesterday you can see below. They are still going to honor their donation to the children’s hospital.
The Des Moines Register dug up the tweets during a routine back ground check while they were doing a story on Carson King. You can see their statement below.
