The nominations for the 56th Academy of Country Music Awards are in with Maren Morris and Chris Stapleton leading the pack with six nods apiece.

Maren, who is the ACM’s reigning Female Artist of the Year is up for Single and Song of the Year for “The Bones.” She receives an additional nod as the writer of the song. She’s also up for Female Artist of the Year and Music Video of the Year for the “Better Than We Found It.” She also picked up a nod in the Group of the Year category with The Highwomen.

Chris Stapleton is up for Entertainer of the YearMale Artist of the YearSong of the Year for “Starting Over” as both songwriter and artist and Album of the Year for Starting Over as artist and producer.

Miranda Lambert continues her streak as the most nominated female artist in Academy history with 68 lifetime nominations. She’s up for five trophies, including four for “Bluebird” as Single of the YearVideo of the Year and Song of the Year. She gets an additional nod as the songwriter. She also picks up her 15th nomination in the Female Artist of the Year category.

Ashley McBryde receives four nominations, including one for her first for Album of the Year.

Reigning Entertainer of the Year Thomas Rhett receives four nominations, including his second nomination for Entertainer of the Year.

The 56th Academy of Country Music Awards will be broadcast from Nashville at the Grand Ole Opry House, The Bluebird Café and the Ryman Auditorium on April 18th on CBS.
