  the Turkey River at Spillville.
* Until tomorrow evening.
* At 1:30 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 15.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
* Major flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
  at 1:30 PM CDT Saturday was 15.1 feet.
* Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage just
  after midnight tonight and continue falling to 2.7 feet early
  Saturday afternoon.
* Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 14.0
  feet on 09/10/2016.



The Flood Warning continues for
  the Turkey River at Elkader.
* Until late Tuesday evening.
* At 1:45 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 13.8 feet.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 21.2 feet
  early Monday morning. It will then fall below flood stage early
  Tuesday morning.
* Impact...At 12.0 feet, Minor flooding occurs in areas near the
  river.
* Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 20.7
  feet on 09/23/2016.




The Flood Warning continues for
  the Turkey River at Garber.
* From late tonight to Tuesday evening.
* At 1:15 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 12.3 feet.
* Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage just
  after midnight tonight to a crest of 22.6 feet early Monday
  morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Tuesday morning.
* Impact...At 17.0 feet, Minor flooding begins in the communities of
  Garber, Osterdock and Millville.
* Impact...At 19.0 feet, County Road X3C at the south end of Garber
  becomes inundated.
* Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 23.8
  feet on 07/22/2017.




The Flood Warning continues for
  the Kickapoo River at Gays Mills.
* Until early Wednesday morning.
* At 8:00 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 12.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late
  this afternoon to a crest of 14.2 feet Monday morning. It will
  then fall below flood stage early Tuesday morning.
* Impact...At 13.0 feet, Water begins to cover roads near the river,
  including Sand Hill Road near Bell Center. Minor flooding occurs
  in areas adjacent to the river, including Robb Park in Gays Mills.
* Impact...At 15.0 feet, Moderate flooding is possible in and around
  Gays Mills.
* Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 14.6
  feet on 09/09/2016.





The Flood Warning continues for
  the Kickapoo River at Readstown.
* Until Monday morning.
* At 1:00 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 12.4 feet.
* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage early
  tomorrow afternoon and continue falling to 5.5 feet Saturday
  morning.
* Impact...At 10.0 feet, The park along the river begins to flood.
* Impact...At 12.0 feet, The park along the river experiences
  significant flooding.
* Impact...At 13.0 feet, Water is up to the bottom of the Charles
  Street Bridge.
* Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 11.4
  feet on 06/02/2014.


For the Kickapoo River...including Ontario, La Farge, Viola,
Readstown, Soldiers Grove, Gays Mills, Steuben...Minor flooding is
forecast.

* Until 900 AM CDT Sunday.

* At 636 PM CDT, local law enforcement reported flooding in the
  warned area. Flooding is already occurring.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Decorah, Charles City, Oelwein, Cresco, Osage, New Hampton, West
  Union, Nashua, Fayette, St. Ansgar, Calmar, Fredericksburg,
  Rockford, Ossian, Riceville, Elgin, Clermont, Lyle, Elma and
  Maynard.
