Tomah author and teacher Larry Scheckel will talk about his new book,
Country School Days. He’ll take us back to his boyhood, growing up
with eight siblings on the family farm in Crawford County and attending
the one‐room country school out on Oak Grove Ridge. Join Scheckel on
a nostalgic and evocative journey as he shares his memories of
friendships forged and lessons learned during his eight years in a school
with 28 kids and one teacher in a building the size of a garage.
Tuesday, April 5, at 7 p.m.
