Chilly temps for Friday night, Snow impacting travel Saturday

Friday night low temperatures will hang out around zero with windchills down to -15 below zero.

Snow returns Saturday afternoon, exiting east Sunday morning. Several inches of fluffy accumulations are currently expected, mostly during the nighttime hours Saturday. Winter Weather Advisories are in effect for the entire area. Northeast Iowa and Southwest Wisconsin could see around 2-5 inches of snow. Southeast Minnesota and Western Wisconsin could see 3-6 inches with amounts as high as 7-8 inches.
