Snow Continues into Saturday

Snow will continue across portions of northeast Iowa and southwest Wisconsin overnight, falling heaviest after midnight and through late Saturday morning before tapering off in the afternoon. Many roads are becoming snow-covered and slippery, especially back roads. Strengthening northerly winds will gust up to 35 mph late tonight into Saturday morning before slowly diminishing in the afternoon. This may result in patchy blowing and drifting snow and poor visibility.

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until 6pm Saturday for Clayton, Fayette, and Grant counties. Total accumulations of 2 to 5 inches with locally higher amounts possible on ridge tops and in higher terrain. Winds gusts as high as 35 mph late tonight through Saturday morning.
