Rain is expected to transition to a wintry mix of freezing rain and sleet overnight and continue into Tuesday morning. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Dodge, Fillmore, Mower, Olmsted, and Wabasha counties in southeast Minnesota and Mitchell in northeast Iowa from midnight to noon Tuesday. Untreated roads and surfaces will be slippery. Hazardous travel is expected. After the wintry weather, strong to severe storms will be possible across parts of northeast Iowa and southwest Wisconsin between 10 AM and 4 PM. The main threats are damaging winds and maybe an isolated tornado.
