Flood Warning for Fayette County in northeastern Iowa, Southwestern Winneshiek County in northeastern Iowa, and Eastern Chickasaw County in northeastern Iowa…Until noon CDT Wednesday. At 534 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated rainfall of 4 to 6 inches has fallen since yesterday with some rivers and streams continuing to rise. Additional rainfall around half an inch is possible today.

The Turkey River at Spillville.

* At 4:30 AM Wednesday the stage was 11.1 feet.
* Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.

today. The river will fall below flood stage this evening.

below flood stage by Friday.

stage by Friday morning.
* Impact…At 19.0 feet…County Road X3C at the south end of Garber
becomes inundated.
