RASCAL FLATTS have canceled their ‘Farewell: Life Is A Highway Tour,’ which was to start in June. They broke the news on Instagram Tuesday: “After a lot of difficult conversations that we never thought we would be having, we have decided that in the interest of the safety of everyone involved we will not be moving forward with our Farewell Tour.”
REBA MCENTIRE is the latest headliner to postpone her entire 2020 tour until next year. The trek was set to launch in July, but will now open on July 8, 2021 in Evansville, Indiana, and wrap on August 14, 2021 in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
JASON ALDEAN is pulling the plug on his 2020 tour. He shared the news on Instagram yesterday, writing, “The health and safety of my fans, my band and crew and all the local workers in your town who help pull off our shows each night is something we’re not going to gamble on. I can promise you we’ll get you new dates as soon as we can and that me and the boys will be back next year bigger and louder than ever.”
TIM MCGRAW has made the decision that the show will not go on. His ‘2020 Here on Earth Tour’ has officially been canceled due to the pandemic. He broke the news to fans via a text, then posted a message on social media writing, “I’m so sad to have to cancel . . . but everyone’s safety has to be the top priority. We’re working with our teams to figure out when and how we can get back out on the road and see you all safely. In the meantime, we’re looking for some new ways to connect with you and get more music out.”
SUGARLAND buffered the bad news — tour cancellation — with good news — new music — on social media Tuesday. The duo shared a video message to fans explaining there will be no ‘There Goes the Neighborhood Tour 2020.’ JENNIFER NETTLES and KRISTIAN BUSH said that while they won’t share a release date on the new music, it’s coming soon.
LADY ANTEBELLUM have canceled this summer’s ‘Ocean Tour’ and so far have no plans to reschedule the dates. They broke the news on social media Tuesday… “This decision breaks our hearts but the health and well-being of those we love is our first priority..”
