The Bill Riley Talent Search Postpones 2020 Season

An Iowa summer tradition won’t be happening in 2020.  Take a look at the press release from the Bill Riley Talent search.

Clive, Iowa – (May 15, 2020) – In the interest of our young performers and their families, the Bill Riley Talent Search will be postponed until 2021.

Although the Talent Search culminates with 11 days of competition at the Iowa State Fair, this decision was based on the fact that local shows take place from early June through August.

“Due to the ongoing threat of COVID-19, I feel it is in the best interest of the performers, coaches, volunteers and staff to postpone until 2021,” said Bill Riley Talent Search President Bill Riley, Jr. “We encourage our performers to continue to practice their talent and look forward to seeing them perform next season.”
