Wintry Mix Possible Late Wednesday

A wintry mix moves in for Wednesday afternoon and lasts through Wednesday night. Overall snow and ice amounts are not expected to be too high with the greatest probabilities for 1″ or more of snow favored along and north of Interstate 94 and the greatest probabilities for a glaze of ice in Iowa and southern Wisconsin. In between these 2 areas, there will be a mixture of precipitation types. Even though snow/ice amounts will be light, they will impact travel (especially the evening commute).
