Caitlin Clark Signs $28 Million Nike Contract

Caitlin Clark padded her WNBA income by signing an eight-year deal with Nike worth $28 million.

The rookie salary for WNBA players is $76,000. The Indiana Fever drafted Caitlin to a four-year contract worth $338,000.

Nike was not the only sports apparel company seeking Caitlin’s endorsement. Adidas offered her $6 million. Under Armour would have given Caitlin $16 million over four years.

She abruptly walked out of a meeting with Puma because their low-ball offer was just $3 million. (Wall Street Journal)
