A winter storm will bring snow to the region late tonight into Friday morning. Amounts from 2 to 6″ are expected with locally higher totals possible. In addition, light icing could be realized for parts of northeast Iowa into southwest Wisconsin. Where the snow bands layout could still shift, and some refinement to how much to expect, and where, is possible as we move into tonight.
A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Fillmore, Houston, La Crosse, and Monroe counties from 10 PM this evening to 10 AM Friday. Snow with accumulations of 2 to 4 inches are possible in the counties listed.
