14-karat gold lego piece fetches $18,000 at auction

A 14-karat gold Lego piece has sold for over $18,000 at auction. The Lego was originally donated to a Pennsylvania Goodwill along with a bag of jewelry. The piece is a small, Bionicle mask. The piece was initially listed for $14.95 online, but employees realized they had something special when potential buyers began to offer $1,000 for the Lego. Only 30 of the rare Kanohi Hau masks were made 23 years ago.
