A North Carolina man was arrested after leading police on an hour-long chase which reached a top speed of 20 mph. Not 120 mph… but 20!
Police were called to the town of Boone and saw a man in a John Deere tractor going on a rampage. According to them, the man hit at least two vehicles and pushed a dumpster into a church building. He then headed onto the highway where police deployed spike strips to take out the tires, but he kept going at 20 mph. Officers then shot out one of the rear tires, but that didn’t get him stop either. From there, he drove the tractor onto a residential yard and rammed another car. After the hour-long pursuit, the man finally jumped out of the tractor and tried to run, but officers Tased him and placed him under arrest.
