Freezing rain will fall across much of northern Wisconsin later tonight, locally impacting locations north of Interstate 94. Untreated roads and other cold surfaces will become ice covered. Travel will be slippery to hazardous, likely including the Wed morning commute. Downed branches and maybe some localized power outages could occur. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect tonight for Clark and Taylor Counties.
There will be periods of rain on Wednesday and then the precipitation will change over to snow Wednesday night and continue into Thursday morning. A few inches of wet snow are possible, mostly on cold, grassy surfaces. Keep tabs on the latest forecasts for updates. Check on road conditions before heading out and be ready to alter (or cancel) travel plans if conditions warrant it. Tonight: Icing North Of I-94
Wed Night-Thu Morning: Snow, Wintry Mix
