Wisconsin Highway 35 Road Construction

Road construction has started on WIS 35 today(March 28, 2022) and the road work is expected to be completed this August. WIS 35 will be closed to through traffic and detoured between WIS 82 in DeSoto and WIS 56 in Genoa. Through traffic will be detoured using WIS 82, WIS 27 and WIS 56. The highway will remain open to local traffic only. According to the Wisconsin DOT, this section of WIS 35 was last paved in 1993. The 12 mile section of the Highway will be completely closed beginning on Monday, April 4th.

FYI: Construction starts on Monday (3/28) along WIS 35 in Vernon and Crawford counties.
