| A storm system will pass across the region and produce a period a very strong winds late Wednesday afternoon through the night. The winds will start out of the south Wednesday afternoon and then swing around to the west late Wednesday evening through the overnight hours. Wind gusts of 55 to 60 mph will be possible, mainly after sunset.
These winds may be strong enough to produce power outages and damage property. Driving may be difficult, especially for high-profile vehicles. Secure loose objects and holiday decorations. A High Wind Watch is in effect for the entire area.
