Tonight-
A few inches of snow are expected in northern Wisconsin overnight through Sunday. An initial band of snow overnight tonight will impact north of Interstate 94, with a secondary more widespread bout of a snow tomorrow. Winds will pick up tomorrow, gusting to 40 mph in spots producing some blowing snow. If traveling northward tonight through Sunday, be prepared for slippery travel conditions.
Sunday night into Monday-
Strong west to northwest winds will buffet the area Sunday night through Monday. Gusts from 35 to 45 mph are expected, strongest across the open and unsheltered areas of southeast Minnesota and northeast Iowa. Travel will be challenging at times, especially for those driving high profile vehicles. Light weight objects, including outdoor holiday decorations, will be blown around if not tightly secured.
